ZBD=Lv.7 Games

If you could add 030 accelerator, it would make 128K game's speed faster.
Especially if you replaced TF330's MC68EC030 with MC68030,
ASp would become a bit faster after you copy mmu.library to your "Libs" drawer.

On this website following examples would be classified into "ZBD=Lv.7" games
because they are too sluggish to play on 020 system.
• Some 128K titles because they are extremely sluggish on 020 system.
  (e.g. "Blizzard's Rift", ...etc )
• "Jet Set Willy 128" & its mods because it would make their difficulties much lower
at a slow speed. Difficulty is very important factor for "Jet Set Willy" series.
(e.g. "Jet Set Willy: The 2010 Megamix", "Strangel", ...etc )
• FPS games described below.

Example #1:
"CitadelDemo_2 (CITDEMO-.TRD)", created by X-Project Association in 1996.

This demo game has been provided as "TRD" formatted file.
So you have to load the game using ZX-Live.
After it shows the title sceen, create a snapshot file (ZLS).
All data has already been loaded. Quit ZX-Live.
Then load that snapshot file using ASp.
I recommend you to change setting "CONTROL" and "SCREEN".
Redefine "MENU" key ( default setting is Q key, which is beside W/S key to look up/down ).

Don't choose "NAME DOOM" on the setting screen, otherwise it crashes.
To return to the previous screen, press CTRL key + Space bar.
Choose "NEW GAME", the game begins.
Don't press a key defined "MENU" during the game, otherwise it crashes.

It is said that this demo contains of only 1 level.
And it seems that there is no ending screen.
So I think only you can do is quit ASp after you got bored.

Example #2:
"DoomV1.5bPre-release (Doom1_5b.trd)", created by Digital Reality in 1997.

This demo game has been provided as "TRD" formatted file.
So you have to load the game using ZX-Live.
After the game begins, create a snapshot file (ZLS).
Quit ZX-Live. Then load that snapshot file using ASp.
This demo level is huge and takes time to complete, however,
there is only one level that exists.

It means that you don't have to save a snapshot file to load data of next level using ZX-Live.
But, there is an ending screen.

So save a snapshot file if you could reach "EXIT" point.
Don't press Return key at "EXIT" point, otherwise the game would crash.

By the way, an Imp, who should be called "Boss Imp", awaits you at "EXIT" point.
His HP is extremely high.

Quit ASp, and run ZX-Live.
After insert "Doom1_5b.trd", load that snapshot file you created at "EXIT" point.
Press Return key at "EXIT" point.

ZX-Live loads new data (the ending screen) from "Doom1_5b.trd".

Now you see the ending screen.

Exclusion list (examples):

Following titles are not classified into "ZBD=Lv.7" games.
• Some first person perspective games for 128K: I think they are not extremely sluggish even if your CD32's CPU is 020.
  e.g. "DoomDemo_3.z80 (DOOM_PD.Z80, created in 1996)" : ZBD is Lv.5 .
        "CitadelDemo.tap (CITADELD.TAP, created in 1996)" : ZBD is Lv.5 .
• 3DCK games for 48K: Surely the game speed is slow, however, the game speed was sluggish on real Sinclair's 48K machine, too.
e,g, "Amnesia (,published by Huelvy in 2015)" : ZBD is Lv.3. It seems the game speed would be the fastest if you use "Spectrum Emulator v1.7".
