How to load GB/GBC Freeware on SNES:
We must buy "AD Adapter(White version)", which has installed "PocketGBC 2012" that can load "gb"/"gbc" files from micro SD card.Only we have to do is simply copy "gb"/"gbc" file on your own micro SD card.
If GBC game has been provided as ".cgb" file, rename its extension ".gbc".
Insert that micro SD card to your AD Adapter, then turn your SNES console on.
Choose the game you want to play. The game would be loaded immediately.
Unfortunately some titles are incompatible with "Pocket GBC 2012".
Try "Goomba Color", next.
"Goomba" was originally coded by FluBBa (

in 2003-2004. After that, "Goomba
Color" was coded by FluBBa & Dan Weiss in 2008-2019. |
Doubleclick
"goombafront.exe". A window as shown in the left screen
appears. 1. Choose "goomba.gba" in the same folder "goombafront.exe" exists. 2. Specify a ".gba" file you want to create. 3. Choose folder that ".gb" / ".gbc" files exist. After that, you can see them in a box to the left. Choose ".gb" / ".gbc" files you want to load. 4. Click "Add ->" button. You can see that files copied to the right box. (5. You don't have to specify a file when you compile for the first time.) 6. Click "Compile" button. a ".gba" file that you've specified at the section #2 would be created. Copy it to your own micro SD card. (5&7. When you run "goombafront.exe" again to create another ".gba" files, "goomba.gom" in the same folder "goombafront.exe" exists would be specified in those boxes automatically. You can ignore them.) |

Note:
• If you're using "PocketGBC", you have to press X+L after the save process to actually save the game.
Additionally, in some games, after the save process, you must first press L+R to bring up the menu and then press X+L to actually save the game.
If you're using "Goomba Color", after the save process, you must first press L+R to bring up the menu and then press X+L to actually save the game.
If it still couldn't be saved the game, try to save the game using "Save state" of "Goomba Color".
• "u3start.sav"/"u4start.sav" provided by Sven Carberg won't be able to be used for your own GBA file created by "Goomba Color".
It's because those "sav" files that shall be used for VBA are quite different formats from ones that would be used for GBA file created by "Goomba Color".
At least I cannot convert them!
