Games inspired by Lunar Lander

See above. Original "Lunar Lander" game allows you to rotate your ship right / left.
Thrust genre games can do the same movement, so games inspired by "Lunar Lander" should be classified into "Thrust" genre.
Actually those games are fewer than games that doesn't allow you to rotate your ship. Especially commercial games.
In 1983, a ZX spectrum game called "Apollo 11" was released as commercial title.
In 1990s, two games for Amiga were confirmed. See below.

For CD32 +FDD users:
"Destination: Moonbase" is included in "Assassins PD games vol. 7".
"Assassins PD games vol. 7"(dms format) is in "Archives" folder of "Assassins CD".
You can download ADF version from other websites.
Then transfer it to your empty diskette. ( Note: "Assassins PD games vol. 7" requires Relokick1.3 .)

The Game:

Your ship appears just below the space station.
The aim of the game is transportation of supplies to the moon.

First, you have to connect the head of your ship to one of 4 docking connector
of the space station to get supplies to transport to the moon.
The docking connector you must connect has a green light.

Don't get close to other 3 docking connectors which have red lights,
otherwise your ship would crash into the space station.

After you get supplies from the docking connector,
you will be told which base on the moon you must take them to.
See the bottom message of the screen. ( In the case of the screenshot of the left, it's moonbase #2.)

Although you should go to the ground surface of the moon,
watch out how much your fuel remained.
 "L" level means it.
If you don't refuel before go the ground surface,
your fuel would run out while go the space station again after transportation to the moon.

To refuel, connect the head of your ship to the top of the space station.
You can see "L" level increase while "S" level decrease.
"S" means fuel of the space station.

You should interpret that the space station supplies fuel to your ship.

 Now go down outer space.
The screen would change after you cross the bottom of the outer space screen.

After you came to the ground surface screen,
land your ship on the correct moonbase.
You must achieve sufficient speed reduction,
otherwise your ship would crash immediately after it lands.

 Therefore you complete 1 mission.
You have to go to the space station again to get new supplies!
Yes, for example, 3 missions means 3 loops that explained above
...before your ships or time remained run out !

After you can see how to do, Easy mode would be a piece of cake.
However, Hard mode would be well-balanced, I think.
In Hard mode, your ship would crash into even  the correct docking connector unless you can achieve sufficient speed reduction.
In addition, you can take only 1 minute per 1 mission.
It would be harder that Space station's fuel is low. "S" level would become a half after you refuel only 1 time.
It means that no fuel would be remained anymore after you refuel 2 times.
You must deliberate how to complete 4 missions before the game is over...
But don't worry, it's not insane, you can made it if you've already complete Sub-Terrania on your Mega Drive !

Download "MOONROCKS6.lha" from aminet. Create a blank diskette in advance.
Extract MOONROCKS6.lha and copy "MoonRocks"(folder and files inside) to your diskette.
 In addition, create "Libs" and "S" folder in that disk. Then copy following;

The game:

 Your ship are thrown suddenly!
There is nothing to do now.

Kill time by flying the sky and seeing mountains of the moon...

 Before your fuel runs out,
 refuel by landing here.
Don't forget to achieve sufficient speed reduction,
otherwise your ship would crash immediately after it lands !

After a while, you can hear rock music.
Now you must search for the rock star,
then land your ship beside him.
The game would be completed ! Ha ha ha...
