The game:

Can you place 12 pieces within the green frame?
There are said to be over 200 solutions.

For each line's checksum:
Please refer to the magazine's page. You can use version 2.1 coded by the "MSX•FAN" team.

My suggestions for English version:

512610-en-suggestions
If you modified the code as above, each checksum will changed as below.
512610-checksum-en-ver

Joystick support:

512610-joystick
D-pad & Trigger 1: Select / Move / Place a piece.,   D-pad left holding Trigger 2: Rotate a piece.,   D-pad right holding Trigger 2: Flip a piece.,   D-pad down holding Trigger 2: Cancel moving.,
D-pad up holding Trigger 2: Enter "Disk save / load" screen. Sorry, but please use the keyboard for everything else!

For Amiga CD32 users:

AmiMSX fails to COPY / LINE with XOR so that it can't show each piece correctly.
Try fMSX, however, it would be too sluggish to load the game if CPU is 020.

All designated Shogi pieces must be placed on the board, but no piece must be in a position where it would kill another piece in the next move.

Correct the author's typo.

For each line's checksum:
Please refer to the magazine's page. You can use version 2.1 coded by the "MSX•FAN" team.
100> 203   770> 219
Sorry, but I don't understand why the checksum of the line #100 is not “171”.

Joystick support:

"STICK(0)" is found in the lines #170, #270 and #310.
"STRIG(0)" is found in the lines #180, #290, #320, #640 and #690. The quickest way is to simply replace each "0" with "1".
In addition, modify the code as below.
kawagoe-joystick
Trigger 2: Cancel.
Move the cursor to "CLEAR", then press Trigger 2: Restart the current level.
Move the cursor to "CLEAR", then press Trigger 2 holding D-pad right: Return to the title screen.

For Amiga CD32 + FDD users:

AmiMSX causes several graphical glitches, including a failure to draw the title screen, but some fatal bugs are included.
Download this "KAWAGOE.BIN" and copy it to the same diskette first, then modify the code as below.
kawagoe-amimsx
020 users must modify the line #690 as above, otherwise the game will crash after you complete eacn level.

Kinako

Mr.Tanaka
Release:
"MSX•FAN" Oct. 1989 Issue
B: Select a tile.,   C: Swap this tile with the selected one.,   Y: Press it after you thought the picture was complete.,   STOP: Replay the game.

The game:

Replace the tiles to complete a picture of a yacht.
However, the picture on each tile scrolls from right to left.
The arrow indicates that this is the upper right corner of the completed picture.
Due to these specifications, even if it looks like the picture is complete at first glance, it is often incorrect.
If it is incorrect, the tiles will be shuffled again after the Y key is pressed.

For each line's checksum:
Please refer to the magazine's page. You can use version 2.1 coded by the "MSX•FAN" team.

Joystick support:

kinako-joystick
Trigger 1: Select and swap tiles.,   Trigger 2: Press it after you thought the picture was complete.

For Amiga CD32 + FDD users:

AmiMSX fails to PAINT when drawing the original yacht picture on the PAGE 1 so that the game screen looks bad. In addition, background color was not PAINTed yellow.
Try another emulator or real machine. After loading the program, modify it as below without saving it, then RUN.
kinako-amimsx-part1
"KINAKO.BIN" will be saved to the same diskette automatically. (Don't save the program itself yet!)
Then load the program again and modify it as below.
