For CD32+FDD users:
The game was designed for NTSC 60Hz system even though the author's country belong to PAL region.
It you have PAL CD32 only, change the signal of your TV to "PAL60", or buy RGB cable.
Anyway, download and extract R3.lha which has been uploaded to aminet. After that, you have 3 choices.

I
You want to play all levels (including 2P mode levels).
Create 1 disk version covered "ORIGINAL" levels only. See #1.
II
You're not interested in 2P mode at all.
Create 1 disk version covered "ORIGINAL" & "BONUS1" levels
for 1 Player mode. See #2.
III
You want to create "2 disks version" for a certain reason.
Create 2 disks version. See #3.

#3: How to create 2 disks version

You can copy all folders & files except 3 folders ("BONUS1.levels", "ORIGINAL.levels" & "ships")
Disk 2
You must name
this disk icon
"r3-leveldisk".
ships
(All files inside.)

"BONUS1.levels"(folder and files inside) or "ORIGINAL.levels"(folder and files inside)
( You must choose either one. If you copy both of them, it would load "ORIGINAL" one! )

Insert Disk 1 and turn your CD32 on, then choose "Play Level-Disk".
You will get "Please Insert a Level Disk in any drive." screen. Swap disk 1 for disk 2.
But it's almost pointless if you play the game itself. Method #1 or #2 would be recommended.

Every you complete a level, you can earn money.
You can buy a new ship / make an exchange of ships
when you lose a current ship or complete a level.
There are many ships, which are prepared for this game,
have individualistic features and various costs.
Better ships are more expensive, it means that your money will soon run out.
If you have no money to buy a new ship after your last ship is destroyed,
your game becomes over. = You will get the title screen.
On the other hand, the difficulty will become higher
if you save your money ( = inexpensive ships would be hard to deal with).
You have to elaborate a strategy considering your skill and character.

Ships:

 • Cost: A purchase price of a new ship.    A payment for exchange of new ship would be variable by your current one.
 • Fuel/Shield: Each length is converted into a value (Max=100).
 • Speed: Traveling speed      • Rotate: Rotating speed      • Missiles: the number of missiles that ship has.

delete "ORIGINAL.levels"(folder and files inside) and copy "BONUS1.levels"(folder and files inside) instead.
Insert that diskette and turn your CD32 on, then choose "BONUS1".
• If you created 1 disk version by method #2,
Insert that diskette and turn your CD32 on, then simply choose "BONUS1".
• If you created 2 disks version of ORIGINAL levels by method #3,
delete "ORIGINAL.levels"(folder and files inside) and copy "BONUS1.levels"(folder and files inside) instead.
Insert Disk 1 and turn your CD32 on, then choose "Play Level-Disk".
