Introduced in the first half of 1994, this free game was created with the concept of enjoying the "Space Taxi" released for C64 in 1984 on an Amiga.
However, it is also different from the specification that the legs cannot be automatically retracted during takeoff (the taxi cannot be controlled to the left or right in that state),
and the level configuration of the C64 version (as of 1984, it was a very ambitious work). From that point, some gamers were dissatisfied at the time.
However, I don't mind those elements described above when I try games of this genre from now on, and it's our opinion that it's a good game in general.

This first edition is included in the software "Assassins CD 1" for CD32.
If the loading from CD is annoying, save the data ("SPACE_TAXI" folder and files inside) in the CD to one 880KB floppy disk.
In that case, copy the Libs drawer (diskfont.library inside) and c drawer (assign and iconX inside) together.

There is no penalty for exceeding the time set for each Level .
A bonus according to the remaining time will be added to the score in the next Level .
Also, unlike the taxi industry on real world, the faster the passenger is delivered, the higher the price.
In fact, the maximum amount the passenger pays for each Level  is fixed,
and that number continues to decrease as long as the passenger is on board, and when it is delivered safely, the remaining amount is paid as a reward (a score).
If you land on the platform labeled "FUEL" during the Level , you will be refueled in exchange for your score.

Bring passengers and buy fuel with the money you earn. If you run out of fuel, you will crash. 5 crashes bring you to the title screen.
On the title screen, you can choose to start from Level 1, 6 and 11.

The specifications of the same SpaceTaxi are different between "Space Taxi 1" and "Space Taxi 2".
The comparison guide is below.

In a nutshell,

A score of "Space Taxi 1" makes it easy to accumulate scores, but you often go to refuel.
Scores are hard to accumulate for "Space Taxi 2" and "Space Taxi 3", but the frequency of refueling is low.
In the first half levels of "Space Taxi 1", the quota tends to be more.
Therefore, if they're the quite same levels, "Space Taxi 1" is slightly more difficult.

However, the situation will be different when comparing the difficulty itself for completing the game.
More radical levels is actually added after "Space Taxi 2", so I feel like what you can do before completing "Space Taxi 1".
